New permission

So after my yearly round of golf...

I noticed a lot of rabbit damage around the course. I spoke to the staff and bagged myself a lovely permission!

First night out and I ended up with 40 rabbits with the trust tikka t1x in 17hmr.

The thermal was full of rabbits everywhere I looked. It's going to be a great perm

Picture is after shooting on one hole without moving all shot one after the other. Was like shooting fish in a barrel!

Out of interest what time did the rabbits start appearing? Were most the shots taken from prone?

I got there at 9pm and they were everywhere mate. All the rabbits in the photo were shot from sticks

Maybe.. but I don't have a 22lr.. and the golf course is in the middle of nowhere...

thats a cracking do i have both anschutz 22lr and 17hmr both have sak mods . rabbits don't seem that bothered about the crack .

I also have permission on a local course - also have rabbits everywhere (and the ofd charlie) !! Walk out on foot, thermal spotter and away you ho !

I'm not seeing any bigger than half-grown as yet this summer. VHD seems to get the adults. A neighbouring horse paddock is knee-high in grass, might see more later. It's for sale at the moment because the owners have died.
