New rifle

Thought you may appreciate my new rifle it’s a Weatherby 307 Range XP in 7PRC. All thanks to Simon Ericson. A very knowledgeable friendly chap who’s creating me a load for it. Does anyone else have one or a 7PRC?

What you think about it and how it shoot? I was about to get the same but hold it as i can't see one in flesh. Is it the barrel really that thin or it's ok in reality? Congratulations on your purchase and enjoy

So far so good it’s the lightest rifle I now own. I was in the same boat as you, never knew anyone to see one. Just bit the bullet as such and bought it. Is an lovely action and trigger. With it being so light I’d expect it to kick quite a lot, I have a 308 and 6.5prc and I’d say it kicks like the 308. Barrel is great. Where are you in the country you’re more than welcome to come and view it if you’re close. I’m 20 minutes past Chepstow in Raglan. First group with it was under an inch but the rounds weren’t really to test group sizes but to break in the barrel and check case length as new cases. I’m very happy with it, it’s balanced well with the titanium wildcat elite mod. You won’t be disappointed owning one
