Hello all. My Name is John. Both my wife Kathryn annd I are a year into having the our licences. Here in Scotland that includes three each. Air,firearms and shotgun. We don’t currently own shotguns but we do both have air and LR22rimfire with a view to moving upto bigger centerfire as soon as we have been on a a lot of beets and then companion Stalks! We are really lucky to be friends with quite a few deer hunters now up here at our wee shooting club and woodland estate range that we go to at least every week. I recently bought a fac daystate Pulsar(old model now) 50ftlb pcp .25air rifle from one of your members who is part of your our club and he directed me towards a advert on here for a optical glass scope currently for sale in here. I discover you need to be a member to reply to said advert so here I am. but as I read through your members threads it is immediately clear to me that this community shares a fountain ⛲️ of knowledge and opinions and that’s invaluable to a newbie like me. The weapons we have are for our own lands pest control such as foxes and rats and for a wee bit of occasion meat such as pheasant and rabbit but given where we are and the land permissions I already hold deer is a natural progression for and when I’ve actually acquired enough skill and experience some day. Till then I’ll show respect and humility.
Many thanks to all of f you for allowing me this self indulgent introduction.

Cheers BC. Its good to be here. As you can imagine ts going to take us quite some time to go through so many posts and get oriented but we will
