Kind of. The front sight divides in half and there's a small circle inside.
I scanned it here...

Any recommendations for factory ammo?
One thing I'm a little uncertain of is that I have to pull the back of the bolt back a little to flip over the safety. Am I missing something?
It literally requires just a millimeter. You shouldn’t have to pull any part of the bolt back to engage the safety…..
If the bolt is in the fired position (forward unlocked no cartridge in the breech) you should be able to engage the safety easily and in doing so the bolt striker will move rearward visibly…..just slightly.
It goes without saying when the bolt is in battery ready to fire it again should be no problem engaging the safety.
I hope I’ve described events that makes sense to you.
Remember that those actions are old and can't put up with the pressure from some of the newer ammo.
It literally requires just a millimeter.
This is the thing... if it's wrong, it's wrong. It would be good to figure out if it is wear or there is some issue that is for repair. If you’re happy I’m happy.
Is the striker numbered to the rifle ? There should be the last two numbers of the serial number stamped on the rear face on either side of the firing pin . If not , that could be the source of the problem . It could also be that the cam face on the safety is worn , or the front face of the striker . I have a large number of both and would send you a few but Canada customs has taken to seizing and destroying anything firearms related . They've done it to me twice now in the last six months . More importantly , and back on topic , it isn't that hard to fix and any decent gunsmith can do it for you . I can garauntee you can source both parts from Sweden with no problem . I've picked up a lot of parts , including new , in the grease , barrels , for extremely good prices . We have a few members who live in Sweden on here , I'm sure that they could point you in the right direction .This is the thing... if it's wrong, it's wrong. Really looking forward to getting out there with it!Nice acquisition. My 1901 M/96 is the most accurate rifle I own, they really knew how to build them.
