i dont think the boss will get rid of me that quicky - i'm cheap you know! and he's spent years teching me how to write the most explecit and unemotional emails/letters which really hit the spot - only the other day he congratulated me on a 3 pager to which he said " i cant believe it, you might have well have said, shove that up your arse you ****", all i did was close it out with the line "trust you find this of use".

However all it does do is expose their inadiquaces.

It shows a total disregard for safety a fence is not a safe back stop FULL STOP.
It also shows a total lack of understanding on the part of the marksman for shot placement.
Thirdly it shows a total lack of uderstanding of hygenic transport.

There is no wonder the DSC1 pass rate is so high if this shows Jelens professionals operating to an advanced standard.

I have forwarded the link of the video to the DMQ quality assurance group complete with a letter of complaint, stating I believe it unacceptable for a company offering DSC1 & 2 training to display such disregard for basic safety.

Have to disagree

Couldnd tell if backstops were safe from camera angle, this has been round many times.
Shot placement mostly looked ok.
Truck looked pretty clean to me.

This is another thread from the same source as the notorious 'canned stalking' epistle which dragged on for weeks.... I only hope it dies a quicker death than that one. There is no way I want to see this video.

Posting polemics isn't an offence on most sites but maybe it should be. I'm no prude, but advertising cull park stags, trade-based stalking videos, advanced 'head shooting' and the like makes me uneasy. I find it distasteful but don't know why.

It worries me that the "anti's" might see this on the forum as an example of best practice, and distort the narrative in a way only they can.

Please can we have a health warning on future topics so I don't have to tip-toe round the Latest Posts forum?

As a person who was actually there on the day (not just looking through the lens of a camera), I can assure you that EVERY aspect of the cull was carried out with a professional attitude.
All rifles were fully briefed, everybody was paired up (1 x rifle & 1 x observer), all pairs were in radio comms with each other, all arcs of fire were established and fully understood prior to any shooting took place.
The areas behind the fences you see in the video are in fact large rising slopes of soft grass covered ground, due to the area we were operating in being in a basin and all parts of the park were safety cleared prior to shooting.commenced. There was NEVER any danger of exiting projectiles becoming an issue.
As far as shot placement is concerned, ALL animals shot that day went down & out with one shot.
With regards to the transport used, yes it was cleaned before and after. All animals were loaded up this way and moved to a centralised preperation area where they were then gralloched and seperated thereafter.

If I'm honest, in my opinion, the music does taint the video a bit, but turn it off, watch it again and take into account what I have said.

I'm saddened that some people on SD are worried about the antis. The reason why we have so many people in this country hell-bent on destroying our country sports, is that whilst the LACS, Hunt Saboteurs, Antis etc. were busy constructing their huge (and successful) propaganda 'machine', is that whilst they were doing so - many shooters, stalkers, huntsmen preferred to 'lay low', hide in the woods (or behind the keyboard!) instead of growing a pair of balls, and standing up for our sport, our profession, our livelihoods and our colleagues - and not least our human rights.

Whilst we're on the subject, I'm also saddened that of 8 professional deer managers I have spoken to this week, only two are on SD. The remainder told me they were on here, but ..." it got stupid! There's so many f****ng idiots on there, I can't be arsed with it!" If you brave boys hiding behind your keyboards knew what an incredible wealth of experience, expertise and knowledge you were missing out on. You should hang your heads in shame!

Whilst the admin guys are working their arses off to keep this site growing more interesting, more professional, for the good of all the newcomers, novices, and established stalkers alike. Just a handful of f****ng idiots are undoing all that good work!

Also I would like to second what Paul (scooby565) had to say. I was also there on that day and a more professional, well run and highly choreographed day it could not be!!!!!!
There was not even a hint of anything unsafe that day, everything was planned to the last detail, all deer were treated with upmost respect and all hygine precautions were met and exceded.
