For Sale: New Work-Sharp Benchtop Precision Knife Sharpeners

I purchased one of these before Christmas as I have said in a previous post. Now after sharpening every knife in the house I could find, I thought I would share some feedback.
I can and have used wet stones in the past, but they are a bit of a faff. The worksharp is quick and easy to use and well made. When combined with
@Peter Eaton 'S stropping board, knives are transformed to a different level of sharpness.
If you are in doubt about these two products take the plunge and buy them you won't regret it.

One can buy these out here in the UK online. I bought the deluxe set with 3 sets of stones, everything from 230grit through to the last one covered with leather. The work WONDERS!

It's like a Lansky on steroids, you'll love it. I opened mine for the first time between Christmas and New Year and quickly put a fresh razor edge on a number of knives, including a cheap Alpina Sporta (best practice specs), Eka Swingblade, Victorinox 5" flexible boning knife and a Buck 110. The ones it would struggle with would be my filleting knife and small blades with very little depth to them. On these the sharpening stones foul up on the blade jaws. I also used a Peter Eaton strop which makes a first class addition to this fine tool.

Didn’t happen last weekend for various reasons but I’ve sharpened a couple today & made the mistake of touching one of them with a knuckle as I reached for the cloth to clean off the residue after using the 1000 grit ceramic… not on a par with Tim’s recent incident but needed an Elastoplast to stem the flow

Sharp isn’t the word, I thought the Lansky system I’ve been using for some time was good but this system takes sharp to another level!
