Hi guys,
I’ve just bought a night master trident lamp. It has a W for white light then it has a 8 and 9 I’m not sure what these mean? I’m guessing one is for the IR but I haven’t tested it in the dark yet.
Thanks
They're both for IR, 8 refers to the wavelength of 850nm & 9 for 940nm. The 850nm will illuminate significantly further and brighter than 940nm but can be seen by animals as a dim glow whereas humans can't see it. 940nm is pretty much invisible to anything we would be shooting and so is a lot more covert and won't spook them.
