Hi, on a slight tangent, I own the Nikon Monarch E 2.5-10x50SF M Reticle #4 which I believe is the predecessor for the “7” and I find the clarity and light gathering superb, on a pa with my much more expensive scopes. I find the scope a little parallax sensitive, in the sense that between say 200 and 300 meters, you have to re-adjust, but on adjustment clarity is first class. No complaints what-so-ever, sits lovely in opti-lock medium mounts on a .308 Tikka 595 Continental.
