I've had this on my Facebook page going back and forth with arguments from both sides since the first hour of the news breaking.

Out of all the clips and memes that have done the rounds, this one made me sit up and listen, it answers a few questions and theories some of you folk on here have mentioned.

If you have a little time, it's well worth a watch.

Just watched this........says it all really. Well said that girl......👍 👍

Young people should also stop copying things from facebook, taking it as gospel then sharing it on other platforms!!
Especially on platforms where most members can smell bullsh!t a mile off.

Yes you have got it wrong again! it matters that we learn from their inappropriate conduct and that they are punished in order that others learn...
Inappropriate conduct are you for real ......execution is the only answer in my book. Would you say that if some paedophile raped and murdered your children.

Wow! You go girl. Pretty much backs up what I said at post #28 Thank you MW.
Just one stat and food for thought for those who don't have time to listen to that Candace:
"A police officer is 18 times more likely to be killed by a black man than the other way round!"

I've just watched a horrific programne about the Zanesville Massacre of 2011 in the US when nearly 50 exotic animals were released from hellish conditions in a private zoo in Ohio by their deranged owner who then shot himself. The law enforcement agencies then had to shoot almost all of them including 16 Tigers, around 1% of the wild population of India - absolutely tragic. Apparently 6 US states still have either lax or no laws relating to the keeping of exotic pets by the public.

Nothing would surprise me about any Country that allows ordinary folk to keep Lions, Tigers and Bears. It's little wonder they cannot seem to sort out their miriad Police forces......

Well its official the old boy had Coronavirus. So in the spirit of everybody else that died with coronavirus not because of coronavirus we had to put this down as a coronavirus death. RIP.

Disagree, there's a disproportionate amount of black people getting killed by white cops. This is what people are going nuts about, not because guy died to cop, but because black guy killed by white cop - again
"Disproportionate" to what?
Proportionate to what?
Crimes committed?

Suspects killed by police in the USA are 75% less today than they were in 1980. That is true for blacks, Asians, Latinos, everyone.

Rate of shootings remains pretty steady since 2015.
919 people were fatally shot by police in 2018.
1,023 people were shot and killed by police in 2019.
Whites comprise over half those killed by police.
Black compose 13% of the population and comprise 26% of those killed by police.
Blacks are arrested and convicted of 38% of the violent crime in America: 3 times the rate of whites....disproportionate to their population.

In 2019, 10 people of 1,023 were killed by police accidentally or by use of force excessive to a crime being committed.

So, here’s the 2018 breakdown of the 995 people shot and killed by the police:
403 were white, 210 were black, 148 were Hispanic, 38 were classified as other, and 199 were classified as unknown.

Out of that 995, 47 were unarmed — 23 were white, 17 were black, 5 were Hispanic, and 2 were unknown.

Out of the 30-50 million interactions that the police had with the American public last year, 10 million people were arrested, and less than 0.01 percent were shot and killed by the police. Out of those 10 million people arrested, 47 of those shot and killed were unarmed, which equates to 0.00047 percent, 17 of which were black.

948 of 995 criminals killed by police were armed and committing a violent crime at the time. 95% of those suspects killed were armed.

The reality is that out of the 10,000,000 arrests made last year in the U.S., 17 black people shot and killed by the police were unarmed, which equates to 0.00017 percent. That does not mean they were innocent. It does not mean the shootings were racially motivated.

Blacks are "disproportionately" over-represented on police forces, for those who place some value on such things.

Black police and deputies do a lot of the patrolling and call responding to black neighborhoods.
Latino police and deputies do a lot of the patrolling and call responding to black neighborhoods.
So the criminals are being arrested by police of their own race, more than by white police.
Black police are involved in shooting and killing a lot of these black criminals. Are they racists? Of course not.

This is worth a listen and some of the figures are in line with what "Southern" said above

Candace Owens on George Floyd

If what she says is correct, some people within the 6% of the population in the USA (Black males) are responsible for 44% of USA murders.

Thanks MW.

What an amazing young woman! She should run for President, a very un-blinkered view and says it as it really is.

How refreshing from the continual, brainwashing, garbage we are seeing in the media.

Well done young lady.

Who is George Floyd?
He was a six foot six body builder with a long record of violence and had already served several terms in prison for assault and battery, also assault against a pregnant woman.
His colour had nothing to do with the way he was handled.
From his record the police officer probably thought his "I cannot breathe" was a ploy to give him the opportunity to get up and turn violent again as he had already been when being asked, and then on his refusal, to get in the police car.
I'm convinced colour had nothing to do with this incident.

Given that little lot, you could be spot on. If so can anybody give me a reason for all the sh..e going on here in his name. also three funeral services in USA for such a criminal.

Because people act like sheep, they don't have a mind of their own and don't think to look into the details. Formally "the bloke down the pub told me so it must be true" Now replace 'pub' with Facebook or Twitter.

i think this thread has run its course, this forum is for shooters to talk about shooting, not about racial matters, it should be ended bs.

Including this I count your four posts in this thread. You brought yourself to this party. If some of the posts cause you offence/distress (they do me) then do not read them.
