Nocpix nite d70r or alpex pro

Set up a mates alpex pro and was a decent improvement on daytime clarity over my 4k. Before I commit has anyone used the Nocpix and can give any feedback thanks

I have the Nocpix. I haven’t done a daytime comparison but I can’t say I’m impressed by the D70 daytime image, it is very focus fussy, I strongly suspect the Alpex Pro will be better, I know Ian Blackwood believes it is.
I’m warming to the Nocpix night time image, it appears to have improved a bit with the latest update and I have swapped to the Nocpix supplied IR, as my Wraith seems to have a focus issue.
I was watching a fox at 348 yards and 200 yard shots are very realistic.
I haven’t looked through the Alpex Pro but everything I have read would suggest it is the better all round scope.

hi just wanted to add my nite daytime is really poor i struggle to pick out rabbits on sandy banks over 100 could be me been thick but i carnt see any way in the menu to improve it iam very dissapointed

I’ve been running the nocpix for a few weeks now.
Can’t see what people are doing to say the day imagine if poor. It’s outstanding.
I’ve got multiple videos of roe bucks at 250+ and ID is not problem.
I’ve got footage of some range time and hits on a white gong are viable upto 300m after that the gong is still clear out to 400m but seeing impact is hit and miss but can see splash of the misses.
I’m very impress with it so far.
Only niggles are the auto record never works and it drains both the internal and external battery at the same time.
Still get a good 6 hours out of it but I’d rather the option to just keep swapping the external 18650 and keep the internal for when I need it.

I’ve looked through both scopes side by side and the Alpex pro was the better of the two. I had a nocpix nite on order from October last year and decided to stick with the scope but I’ll be honest and say I’ve regretted it, the image is very dark at times regardless of settings, the image at over 150 yards is poor, the focus is a very fiddly and hard to get right and I also find it very hazy if shooting inside sheds during the daytime so much so that I can hardly see the pigeons on the rafters. It drains both batteries at the same time and then to top it off trying to get feedback from nocpix is just painful, they take days/weeks to reply and that’s only after I chase them and the customer service just seems very poor compared to Hik or at least that’s my experience so far. If I was you I would buy a Alpex pro or a pard 4K ex

I’m also very interested in the Alpex pro after having the original A50T as well as using the 4k for a while. I’m just a little bit worried with the horror stories I’ve been seeing of them not holding zero/being extremely difficult to zero.

There was an issue with the firmware a few months ago on release. You need to ensure the firmware has been updated and you should have no issue.

The NocPix Nite has had an update also to improve performance.

Evening all, been out again this evening with my Nocpix Nite. I recorded a couple of videos to show how hazy the image is whilst trying to shoot pigeons up at the local farm. These videos are after trying multiple different settings with regards to contrast, brightness, sharpness, day mode with 60hz on and off and night mode.

Blimey that's sh1te.

In the third video, the tractor looked a lot clearer than the picture as you pan up to the pigeon.
Are you having the same issue outside the barn, and in open countryside?
This might sound a bit of a stupid question, is it really hot and humid in the barn?
The picture definatley degrades as you pan higher and I would guess that the temperature and humidity rise with height.
I've found NV picture quality degrades in high humidity.
This is just a thought.

The Image is clearer and fine outside the barn and around the farm yard or fields etc. I started the video focused on the forklift to show the change in image as I pan into the barn to show how much it degrades. Not a stupid question at all and worth asking but the image is the same regardless of temperature whether it’s 10 degrees or 30. The scope just does not like it at all when I pan into the shed to check the rafters for pigeons.

One last suggestion, I would try a digital camera in the same location, phone at a push.
If that produces a better result in picture quality I would be sending the scope back to be checked over.
Hope you get it sorted.

Used them side by side. Alpex pro hands down.
Alpex is lighter, clearer day and night.
Smaller
Much easier to use with side focus.
The nocpix image was good in daytime but not better than the hik.
Darkness, personally i think the nocpix is s**t
Get the hik👍🏻
