Just for the record your original post made complete sense to me - as in, I understood you to mean the owner of Swazi.

Blimey, where do I start. Obvious things like knife, gloves, drag line, phone, first aid kit, head torch if afternoon stalk, spare ammo etc etc. No Nomad do a zipped version and does that have internal pockets![]()

mudman said:I have a zippered Nomad jacket, bought it at this years game fair, I liked the idea of the smock but hate hoods on coats so had to go for the zip option. Very happy with it so far, two good deep conventional pockets on the outside. On the insdie there is one pocket with a zipper and another with a velcro fastening. Almost forgot there is also a large 'game' pocket across the kidny area.
Only (minor) complaint with it is that it is too warm for summer work, but that is what I would expect from a decent fleece.
MJR said:knife : on belt - Don't like dangly knives on a belt
gloves on yer hands - not for warmth, for gralloch
ammo :in the pocket of you rifle bag - spare mag in pocket
head torch:shoot it properly within day light hours - I never shoot after dark unless lamping vermin. I use a head torch as sometimes it drops too dark after an afternoon stalk while extracting a shot beast. Have you never experienced this![]()
Thanks for the other replies guys, I'll have a look at the zipped smock.
