We can take two people every half an hour starting from 8.30 am you will have half an hour to try 12 bullets either 3x4 or 4x3 ( different bullet manufactures) to ascertain how they perform using your own rifle.

Please enter the time you wish to attend when booking the ticket and we will do our best to accommodate you on the day.

On the booking form please register the firearm calibre you will be using on the day, the time you wish to attend and which ammunition you wish to try. If you have the following main stream calibres 308, 243, 6.5.x55, 6.5 Creedmore, 270 and 30-06 we should be able to offer these in non-lead. If you shoot not one of the above calibre's please contact Alastair prior to booking and I will check to see if we can obtain the calibre.

• You must bring your firearm certificate with you, no certificate = no shooting.

• If you are shooting an obscure rifle calibre we may not be able to provide the ammunition. Please contact Alastair Boston beforehand to check.

• If you are using one of the more common calibres we hope to be able to offer you three or four different manufactures to try.

Or three or four boxes of each if you had to buy and try for yourself.
That's what I was thinking - 3 or 4 boxes has to be about £200 and you're potentially left with a load of ammo that you might not use. So experimenting with these and talking to people who know the different bullets must be the best way.

It reads as if it's 12 rounds of factory ammo from either 3 or 4 manufacturers. Having said that, at between £2-£4 a pop it does add up
Yes that's correct.Hopefully we will be able offer three or four different manufactures. We are trying to offer a realistic way of actually testing which ammo suits your rifle as cheap as possible, now what's not to like about that ! Hope you can attend.

If there's anything for 7mm rem mag I will be as it's only up the road 😁
I will wait till after the weekend is out to hear the verdict on that though.
Cheers
