I have four spaces in a Deer Management Group available
The area is in North Yorkshire and has Roe and transient Sika and about 800 acres
Hawes is the nearest village
Access is via unmettled hardcore road and probably best to have four wheel drive than a low slung car
The area is quite wild in terms of weather and can be difficult to negotiate in the snow
This is part of a larger block of foresty so the deer tend to infill when killed from the larger area
There is no limit for culling, so long as in season, safe shot and ethical distance
Several footpaths and bridal ways on site plus regular foresty work makes the area interesting in terms of human activity
I’d rather have people within a two hour drive of the place if possible who are keen and will visit frequently - this is commercial forestry and we’re there to do a job not leave medal heads to develop into trophies
The policy is if legal and safe, kill it
If this kind of deer control doesn’t suit, please don’t respond and I mean no offence by this
If it does appeal, please message me and we can discuss further arrange a visit and go from there
Price is £320 for twelve months- which started a week ago (the fee covers the lease and expenses )
No limit to how often you go, but bookings are controlled and arrange via a calendar which I manage fairly
I’d rather answer any questions via message than discuss on the forum
There are basic facilities on site which you may use as part of the T&C
