Would they work on ao scope and would a cable tie do the same job I have 2mm straps of glow in the dark tape marking my parallax settings to see in the dark while using pard I take this means I could turn the ao without my hands getting in the way lolThey’re a cheap throw lever for the zoom ring on a scope.

Yeah I see what you're saying more leverage with the coasters and grip for all the price of them good value, thanks for you're helpI don’t see why they wouldn’t work on an AO scope. Not sure about cable ties - I’ve used the coasters and the bit that sticks up is very solid; I can’t see a cable tie producing the same result to be honest!

Some of the original scope "cat tails" (as they're called here), were essentially large zip ties. These days there are more refined options.Would they work on ao scope and would a cable tie do the same job I have 2mm straps of glow in the dark tape marking my parallax settings to see in the dark while using pard I take this means I could turn the ao without my hands getting in the way lol

And yes, there's no reason (if you can get one in the appropriate size) it wouldn't work on an AO equipped scope.
Thanks lad, do they need much clearance under the ao ring cheersBreakerway plastic coasters, local tackle shop about £4 for a pair.
Neil.
Maybe 3mm,but once you have it in place you can trim the unused 'thread' down a bit. Thanks lad, do they need much clearance under the ao ring cheers
I've order a couple, I put on a large cable tie just to see and can immediately see the benefit, ill be using it with pardYes they work on anAO ring. I have one on the focussing ring of my Photon where it really comes into its own.
