I think I may have to scrub today, as a bit of a mare.
As I reverse out of home, I completely misjudge it, and run over the 'up-lights'. It is smashed to bits and I am rapidly losing the will.

I asked my wife (I am not authorised to shop on Amazon) to buy me some sticky numbers. I have the brilliant idea that I am going to number the feeders. I have seven in the pen, and I think that numbering them will assist the management of them.
The Amazon envelope arrived before I set off, and Mrs.S62 threw it into the truck. At the pen, I rip it open and find..

I get home and try and face down today's reloading Demon. Obviously I am 'paused' on the .243, but I have about eighty rounds of .308 to complete.
An hour later and I am struggling up the path back to the house, carrying waaaay too much stuff. As I make the kitchen door, I mess it up and drop a box of 50 freshly made rounds. It is raining and I am scrabbling around, on my hands and knees, trying to gather them all back up.
It is sort of a good news story. As I am picking them up I notice that one, then two, then three (finally five) have no primers in.
Bullets, and powder yes, primer no. My tears of frustration are washed away by the increasingly heavy rain.
Some days you just need to write off.
So, the .243 die is in the freezer. Although I did spray the brass with lube, I think I may have used the wrong case holder and so when I went to remove it, the brass slipped out of the holder and stuck fast in the die.
The brass was a bit 'proud' and I thought I could 'plier' it out. Turns out I couldn't.
Hacksawed the live primer off (I did say I made things worse) - tried the "Stuck Case" kit (yes I have one) and because I had hacksawed the head (real head end not miss-named bullets) end off, I am now left with a tube of brass, rammed in a tube of steel.
I have a family member who is good with their hands. When next they are over, I will share this tale of woe with them, explain that I have already put the offending item in the deep freeze (remembering all the while to look like I know why I did that) and then pass them the frozen lump in the hopeless expectation that they will fix it.
In the meantime, I am going for a lay down.
At this rate I will probable fall off the bed...

you certainly like to make life difficult for yourself
having hacksawed off the case head then the only ways i can think of getting it out is to try and hard solder a length of brass or steel rod to what remains of the case without soldering all to the die. Or put the die in a lathe and machine away by boring the case until only a few thou of an inch of brass remains and then attack what’s left with the likes of a screw driver prising the case out.or buy a new die

Not totally inept but things conspire against me.
To such an extent that on my wedding day my best man regailed the ensemble with my, as he called it, Frank Spencer exploits in civil engineering and driving (think it was 8 accidents with 2 vehicles written off including going backwards into a loch and making the papers)
I fear my alter ego may still be shadowing me into my exploits in reloading as I to have a case stuck in a Lee decapping tool

I have just looked at their site - which is obviously geared for that side of the Pond.
Would I have to send it back to the US?
I think I bought it from a well known dealer, here in the UK.

That @Reg SJ is a very good question. Several months ago, I had 120 cases annealed and then proceeded to full length resize bumping the shoulder back by 2 thou with the normal expander ball in place. I then proceeded to prime all said cases thinking everything was tickety boo and then primed all 120 cases. However, after priming all the cases in the time-honoured way I discovered that the ball expander had stretched all my cases and the shoulders needed bumping back again.
I posted the issue on the SD forum and some of our more experienced reloaders suggested that I ditch all the ball expanders and invest in a set of expander dies and mandrels which I did.
Note to self: use more lube next time.

This is one of those (sadly) few threads which still gives me heart. To witness the generosity and copious volumes of such great advice so freely proffered to an SD (formerly Supporter) member is humbling and yet dare I say it, mildly reassuring. Bless all those who give so freely and long may it continue chaps.

This is the same method I'm 'going' to be using for reloading going forward. I also feel the need for one of those maps
If you asked nicely I am sure Dasherman or Ronin would put it in a lathe and turn it out.
Got to ask why on earth you took a hack saw to do it.
Another point it's sensible to use the die makers shell holder with their dies.
Over the last few years I have used a 5mm straight punch to knock out a stuck case. Last time I just drilled and taped the case. Use two thick washers and a nut bigger then the bolt and just wind the case out. Also some manufacturers will remove a stuck case for a nominal sum.

For the same reason, I got drunk on Southern Comfort just before my Medical finals as a student in 1807.

For the same reason, I proposed to my (now wife), in Edinburgh earlier this century, whilst stood outside a jewellers.
Because I did not think any of it through.
They all seemed like a good idea at the time, and nobody ever had any fun by not 'jumping in'.

What did you buy exactly, and from where?
My 'precision' (no such thing with me on the trigger - but you take the point) target rifle, is an AI in .308
If I were to go over to mandrels for this rifle, what exactly would I need?
