Old BRNO in 22.lr worth selling or just scrap?

I have two local RFD's. The first is currently selling all their old trade ins etc for £25 each, or as he put it the cost he charges to do the paperwork.
The other one had quite a few to choose from and not one was more than £150 (iirc included scope and mod on some). There was an unmolested full length one with very nice stock. He put some into Holts and after fees I think he said he was lucky to cover the costs to actually send them in. I don't think it is limited to Brno or CZ. The other local RFD (now closed) wasn't taking anything as a trade in. The second hand market is slow to stagnant.
I've had a couple of Brno's over the years they are good solid rifles. I only got rid of my last one because I got a couple of Anschutz .22's, I gave it away iirc.

I’ve got a slot for a 22lr, I want something solid with a long barrel just to practice stalking shooting positions etc.

Where can I get one for £25 🤣

Evening SD faithful.

So, I’ve got an old BRNO in 22.lr it’s a grand thing but I’ve probably not put a round through it since my last renewal. I don’t do any rabbit shooting since moving house and it’s just sat in the cabinet.

I guess my question is to just scrap it ? Or is it even worth anything?
If it's a mod 2 I'd be interested in any magazines you have for it

I have a BRNO Mod 2, 1977, .22LR, it's still a brilliant rifle which I use for rabbits and other small vermin. It performs far better than I. I only take head shots and rarely miss out to 70 yards. If your's is similar, why would you dispose of it? If you feel you must be rid of it, then give it to a tyro hunter for use on small game. They'll have years of pleasure and still be able to pass it onto someone. Unless they've been seriously neglected, they're fine firearms that last and last.

If anyone does have a model 2 they are scrapping - I’m looking for a stock so I can shorten it (or the current one) but keep a full size version in reserve

Borders gunroom have the shelves line with older scrap mod 2’s mate. But in the back where you’re not allowed to go 😉 speak with Dave, specifically Dave

the old BRNO 22`s bring up to $900 in Aus.
😂 you literally cannot give them away here. Every shop has 10-20 out back that will sell for a few quid at an auction.

I suspect they’re all heading overseas gradually

I love my Brno 22, but I’d not pay for one, not even £1. There’s no need 😂

The mod. 5 is in my view the better finished rifle, but it’s really just a mod. 2 with a standing and folding rear sight instead of a tangent ladder style sight
Mod 1 i believe has the allure for the tards that dont know it’s just another 22. Mines a Krico, boy has it shot some rabbits.
