Hello, I have had a gun and been a shooter since I was about 6 years old. So I have had a gun in some form or other for 50 years. I use to hunt, but not so much these days, I am into military history, and like to shoot historical weapons when I visit America. I collect 410 Lee Enfield's amongst other things.

I can beat that by some 60+ years and am still shooting/gun owner.
I started out with a a single barrel 12 bore muzzle loader which I got off a lad at school. I swopped a long bow for it.
I then got in touch with an old fella who was one of the original punt gunners on the Bridgwater flats and surrounding area where he was brought up.
He still had a punt gun, what bore it was I don't know but an old penny would fit in the muzzle and the barrel was 6ft long.
Mine was a standard sporting 12 bore made by Adkin of Bungay, I took it on honeymoon with me to Brighton in 1960 and sold it down the Lanes for 30/-

Oh Kriky yes, 60+50 =110.
What I should have said is I can beat your record as I have been a firearm owner/shooter for 60+ years so a little longer than you.
