One Piece Cleaning Rod Recommendations.

As above any recommendations for the above would be appreciated. Stupid question time….. is using one for a .223 acceptable for a 6.5 Creedmoor, obviously using the right size brushes, jags and bore guide. Or is it a case of buy 2?

I have Proshot and have no complaints. I went for dedicated sizes per calibre to avoid a thinner rod flexing and touching the side of the bore in a larger calibre, but realistically I don't suppose this is much of an issue in reality.
One word or warning, with any rod, don't let any cleaning fluids run down the rod and get into the bearings on the handle as it is will gum up the bearings. Yeah, I have a ruined one to prove it!

Another for Tipton rods, mine are awesome, I have. A few of different sizes for diff calibres. I have the set of diff ends as well for the diff calibres and just put patch on push through…. Easy

If you do get a Dewey make sure it has the new 8/32 female thread. Otherwise you will always have to deal with an adaptor in order to fit their own brushes and most regular jags. How stupid can one be ….

I don't think there is anything wrong with my Parker-Hale rods.
When the plastic coating on the rod gets worn/ripped, I replace it with heat-shrink insulation.
6.5 mm uses the small .22/.223 rod.
I have adaptors that take Pro-Shot style spear-tip jags.

I have used most but prefer the bore- tech rods.
I never used a tipton though so can't comment on those.
