Out last night.

Maybe so, but a definite noticeable increase in volume and quality of song.:D
Puts a spring in the step mate
Met a "birder" in my yard yesterday as he was "snooping" about - He asked if our place was a nature (bird) reserve - He was astounded with the amount of birds we had - and even more so when i told him it was a shoot and shooting had paid for all the work - food - habitat maintenance and creation

Wow!
Cant believe I come to look at my favourite threads and NOTHING posted since 16.58 Yesterday!
Surely you haven’t shot ‘em all? 👍🤣
Ken.

Waiting for your "out last night" pictures Ken!
Near two months since my last farm outing!
Mainly the full thickness tear of the Supraspinatus is hindering field work.
Can just manage a few range shots each week.
Need an MRI on shoulder but can’t due to Loop Recorder in chest, so don’t know the next move.
Did you blank overnight or take a rest?
Cheers, Ken.

Night off, 3 to skin at some point.

It was rabbit night again for me last night. Bloody hard work as the wind was gusting at 40 mph. Some rabbits escaped unharmed due to the fact it was impossible to shoot them with the gales blowing me and the rifle all over.
But I soldiered on picking the odd one off here and there where some were sheltered on a banking and even resorted to shooting a few with the bipod as impossible off the sticks.
Unfortunately shot 2 with myxy but the rest all fine.
