Out last night.

I blanked last night. Been seeing one on camera all week but not last night (though i was only out 3.5 hrs).

Was set up on bipod on top of silage stack, christ mam it was windy, soon as I got down not a breath!!

Fortunately we are outside the area (S Wales look to cop the brunt of it) but its not pleasant...one of the big problems...it floods one farm that holds the most deer so unlikely I will be able to get out on the weekend...have to get the priorities straight :lol: 👍
 
A short break in the weather accounted for these two , dog first @ 180 , followed 30 minutes later by the vixen , I do honestly believe that it you leave the shot one out where it fell sonnet or later , and in most cases with me anyway the second one will appear with in 30 minutes following the scent of the first , if you’ve never done it give it a go , nothing to lose , good luck CB0006AD-D8AA-4A35-87A8-06F63AD88674.webp

Well done and agree with you entirely, especially this time of year when they are pairing and getting "horny". Shot 3 a few weeks back and all were within 20 yards of one another .
