Out last night.

Just picked up another 200 acres last night, saw one, shot one, this years cub rooting around on his own. Hoping to have plenty of sport from this one, not been shot in years, only downside it backs onto some land I already have and have cleaned the foxes up quite well. Hundreds of bunnies so will have plenty of activity.

Spent a few hours out yesterday and this med size Cub came in to distressed Rabbit call in my ambush area circa 65 yds
He does look like it’s got mange around the tail area.

Well I wouldn’t call any animal that .. it’s Not their shout is it ..how they turn out ..just my humble opinion I’d like to add🦊

Linseed combined yesterday and field part baled ground like concrete with big cracks. Stealthy approach not possible so lent against a bale and waited. 10.40pm fox appears at top of field and trots towards me only to be distracted by small rodents. Its 5 mins of fox dashing around after mice before a clear shot presented. Vixen culled.
Waited another 20 mins nothing except rodents I was v surprised no barn owl hunting. I walked across the field the swath was tall only to see another fox mousing on the bottom hedgerow. Despite being silhouette as I stalked in the fox was preoccupied . Again it was wait for a clear shot and another Vixen culled. I was v surprised not to see any deer. On the way home another fox on stubble but far to near houses all with windows open so it was spared.
