Out last night.

Just re read this thread from post #1, My how things have changed .......

Well done! We blanked tonight - mind you, if we'd been using a thermal rifle-scope instead of NV, we'd probably have shot a roe deer, 2 farm dogs and a cat!
Made i larf. Thermals got its uses....and its limitations.

Wonder how Paddy sp is getting on? I remember a pic of the Mandalorian attributed to him & all his gear,

One more boundary runner down, A big dog to catch up with tonight.

One for me too
It was howling it down though last night

Saw 3 or 4 so back tonight or tomorrow - Or both !

Been putting the hours in big time like I used too, pushing the boundaries though now on stamina against the low temps & rain, watching the frost crawling up the rifle barrel

Interesting platform FB270, i’m using my old hen pack carrier on my jimny, its a bit wide but it works well, seeing yours I think I might reduce the size / weight a bit - the clearance under the wheel is shorter on mine as well

thanks for sharing

Seen quite a few badgers whilst watching over lambs and so far none of them have been interested in the lambs.
Couple of stripeys Ive seen recently have only been interested in a already deceased carcase or bits of, not seen any actually tracking a lamb up yet

My Mrs has one and loves it - bit little for me - but having to use it as disco if undergoing some surgery !

Got another fox tonight too !

Just had a lovely stroll about and got 9 squirrels and found where the crow is sitting

Bonus Vixen, again full, along with the well built chappie I was initially after.
And this was interspersed with a little consternation having a sudden bolt de cocking, unsure what had taken place, but a hectic quarter hour getting it back to correct state in the light of a red head torch & no string or laces.:banghead:
