Out last night.

#11 about 45 minutes ago, about 2 yards over the boundary under some brambles. That's two foxes and a squirrel on a bridge over a lake where 500 Tench were delivered a fortnight ago. Just want some mild weather for them to get fly-blown so the maggots will start to fall in the water. Feeding my fish on foxes, waste not, want not!
Do tell a little more about your fishes. I'm a keen angler at times.

A pleasant couple of hours out tonight until heavy drizzle set in and spoilt play.

Still using the 850nm Zulu pill. Think I’ve been out 4 times with it so far.

Overall it works brilliantly. Good clarity out to 150+y and the lrf seems to spook the rabbits more than the torch.

Once the light rain set in the clarity became unworkable but I’ve had the same with Pard and Vulpine.

Not sure how much rain affects the lrf but it did seem to giving some funny readings 🤔

Yes rain screws up the lrf. I learnt the hard way one night in drizzle.

Received a call from a hill farmer who has just started lambing asking if we could have a look about.
Got set up , fired up the Foxpro and soon had a fox barking it's head off behind us but unsighted which went on for a while.
I turned round to check out in front and a fox was coming in nicely to the cub call.
119 yds stopped for a pee and over she went .

Spring pic in with the daffs 😁

I have been watching these Zulu things for a while, I was particularly taken with the ballistic calculator / compensator bit, Got one off Ian coming this morning, going up to the farm early with the LabRadar to plug in some data.
:popcorn::popcorn: & Later on will be testing my new heated gilet / vest deerhunter,:)
You won’t regret the decision Steve.
Great piece of kit.
When setting up, use the Built-in Ballistics Calculator rather than using the App and Bluetooth, much easier.
Ken.

For a while towards the end of last year,I kind of lost interest in lamping for a few months which for me is unheard of…I’d go 8 nights a week if I could!
Once the new year arrived,I decided that I had to get the finger out and get stuck back in and set a target for an average of 10 a week from between 1st of January and 31st of March
Last night I managed to reach that target with a week to spare and a few extra later on to see me over the line
With more farms lambing over the next few weeks,I’ll not be finished just yet

I like mine for sitting still but find it very sweaty if I have it on (turned off!) when walking any distance. I thought it'd be great for wearing while having a mooch and then only turning it on if I stopped for any length of time of sat in a high seat.

Jesus that's 120 foxes already if I'm doing the math correctly :-|

That looks like it would fit in my 99.

Too restrictive here for NV/Thermal
Classed the same as restricted firearms! 🤷‍♂️
Yet to meet a fox that couldn’t be mopped up in time with a bit of patience
Interesting - living up North it was my understanding that Thermal Spotters are ok but not thermal sights? If not there are an awful lot of adverts for said bits of kit on t’internet…
