Out last night , only did 2 stands and managed a fox on both.

1st stand pulled in a vixen with chicken distress but was going away up the far hedge so a lip squeak stopped it and down she went around 120 yds.

2nd stand set up on a rushy area bordering a wood , cub call had a dog fox race in to around 70 yds .

I had a few hours of cheap fun on the rats tonight.
I ended up knobbling 62 with the FX Crown. Almost used up my stock of AA Diablo Field, so I'll start on the ten tins of JSB's next trip.
I'm enjoying a bottle of McEwan's Champion to top the evening off

Only out for an hour, nothing strenuous, a nice, easy broadside 150-yarder. Foxes seem a little thin on the ground. Hundreds of hares, I counted exactly 70 on one green stubble tonight.

Just been out to thin out some hares which are munching on a new crop coming through.

Only shot on 2 fields , counted 40 in 1 field.

Out last night on the rabbits , no muntjac where I am.

Anyway started as soon as it was dark and there was plenty about. This ground is only 2 fields detached from the main farm but sandwiched on both sides by a nature reserve that is heaving with rabbits.

I only shot 1 field as the other had cows in it , so shot a few , carried bag to the motor and carried on again as they just kept appearing.

Very nice bag, well done mate - good to see the numbers are still about, out on Sunday night with the 22 rimmy bagged enough for the dogs rabbit mixer mince, but I did see loads more, brings a smile to your face to see good numbers 3 charlies tonight over 6 hour stretch ye ole 204 sent them on their way.

I'm still slightly traumatised how much blood is in a hare, did one in the house before that hadn't been bled ended up in the bathtub at some point

Last outing at the end of last week for foxes and all I saw were deer But nice to see the fawns legging it about like fools. No foxes to be seen but nice to be out

Hmm, last night around 22:30 the camera was triggered but the lense was fogged.
Some of the bait gone too. Could of done with a few pigeons instead of dog food.
I guess I should be there tonight....
