Please clarify that you mean the fox and not the shooter...as the shooter is most certainly not Bonny in any way shape or form..I knowBonny lad
No 35 last night.
After the abuse I got on here I was scared to go out but alas decided to but only on the basis that I would go and get a pic regardless of how much effort it was just to keep the "special" members of the group happy and distract them from licking windows.
Couple of hours waiting for fallow with no luck and then onto the first farm to see what the foxes were doing. Saw 2 but both a few feet over the boundary and no interest in coming onto the correct side for a shot.
Second farm I saw a couple but the ground is awkward so I could only get one on the deck. 80 yard chest shot off the sticks. Dog fox. With the angle of the shot its gone through the front of his head and into his chest so the 76 grain .243 round did its job

Stupid fox thats for sure. Many years ago one of the neighbours close to a farm I helped on had said a fox snarled at her about 15 yards away whilst she was trying to scare it away from her chickens but she, her son and the husband apparently all put both barrels of a shotgun after it and didnt kill it...think she had been on the Gin

I can safely say we have had an awesome year up here for insects and in particular black and yellow stripped ones - im now sat holding my head in the bath after my last run of ride cutting was interrupted ! Look like John Merrick !
Its been a good year indeed .... but being stung is not fun...and you certainly seem to be getting everyones elses share as well mate. Perhaps buy a bee suit and cut the grass in that

Please dont be offended but given your posts I wonder whether it would be safer if you stayed in the house and played with a wooden spoon or similar blunt object...power tools, 360 excavators etc are maybe beyond your skill set

A few rats with the pellet gun for me, 76 in total, from around a chicken site.
Modern air rifles are incredible tools. Ranges from 17 yards to 42 yards, and I only missed one all night. I called him Starmer, he was a figgety bugger, never knowing which direction it wanted to go....

I had a bit of that couple of weeks ago. Some bad viruses about.Laid low, Gastric flu.
Milk of magnesium is good. And a shot of whisky occasionally.
