Out last night.

#73

Lost my remote last night for my Foxpro so it was spot and stalk.

No luck to start with , saw 3 foxes which all headed away.

Then my luck changed on the 4th , spotted a fox in the mist , gave it a lip squeak and it came bounding in .

Well done mate. Just for clarity fences are for keeping animals in, gates are for getting in and out..they are not meant for hanging loads of dead animal on   👍

Really , never knew that 🤣🤣

Need a new caller now if cant get a replacement remote.
  I couldnt resist but well done mate.

Nothing worse then losing stuff like that ...especially this time of year. As you mentioned not e:)👍asy to replicate a vixen call with your hand

#83 #84 tonight.
First one spotted as soon as I entered poultry farm. Left landrover running as it didn't seem bothered. Simple 100yard shot of fence post.
Hour later and next one came into field. Got rifle on sticks. One squeak and he flew in. Quick shout to stop it at 75 yards and vmax did rest.

Another two tonight, dog and a vixen before the low cloud set in. Very clear and crisp couple of hours before it did, with a good layer of frost on all my gear... Mid Wales night sky with no light pollution is always a pleasure 😀

Saw quite a few out and about over the boundary, not hanging about, covering a lot of ground, lots of yipping and barking but no real interestin the caller again... mating season isn't far off starting me thinks 🤔

(The fox in the hedge row has a field raising behind it with no stock turned out, IR splash was being reflected by the hedge)

Strange weather system last night, went out as it was expected to stay dry, local forecast gave "Feels like"-1, what actually transpired was a thick mist rolled in & I waited for ages to see if would clear ... it did eventually but left behind a -5 event .... rifle & kit white over, even had to run the night heater on full blast on the way home.🥶
It is now the other side of the coin warm & light rain:cuckoo:
