Don't hold your breath budwhen we see common sense
I’ll bring you a .243 downNot with my 204! I don't have a deer legal calibre mate.
Yeah I could take as many as I like, & roe. I keep debating getting 243 but if im honest, I just dont have enough time in my days to do the butchery/skinning etc justice.
Maybe when the kids are bit older.
Always welcome mate you know that.I’ll bring you a .243 down![]()
We’ll have to sort an evening out, won’t take me too long to get to you, especially if I come in Jacqui’s motorAlways welcome mate you know that.
What twist is your .204? I didn't realise you could launch 50 grainers with the .204, I thought it was all light & fast stuff. It's madness as 204 with 50 grn bullet is roe legal in Scotland. 204 just ideal for roe CWD and munty. Perhaps one day when we see common sense it will be allowed for above in England.

Any actual proof of the " little jog across two fields". I don't believe that one bit!Nos 13 & 14 Sat night.
First farm headed out to a 40 acre grass field which sits down a long track..some scum bags had fly tipped a load of crap on the lane so parked in the adjacent gateway and walked down a field owned by the next door farm where I was going second. Down through the field and pitched up on a bank. Got set up and spotted a fox 350 yards away. Stuck the caller on with a distress call and in it comes. I turned the caller off to make it slow down and it had a quick pause before meeting a .243 round in the bib. When it dropped I knew I would have fun finding it is the grass is getting nice and tall...and I was correct..looked for 15 mins then gave up...headed back this morning to find a nice big dog fox..didnt want it in the silage clamp.

Farm 2 - no luck.
Headed home and wanted to check on my neighbours. Spotted a fox but I was lit up from the yard lights so it legged it. I had an idea where it would go so had a little jog across a couple of fields to see it heading the wrong way. Quick hand squeak and it did a U turn and sprinted towards me. Stopped at 100 yards and down it went. Another nice size dog
