Out last night.

Was going too post these holes a few days ago but trail camera revealed the culprits. :( Farmer was losing a lot of lambs and we figured before wasting our time we would verify what's in the holes since we've seen both badgers and foxes, not too mention there's a good bit of fox crap in the wood.

Badgers.... were in Scotland not much we can do, I think we effectively need video evidence of them doing anything for nature scot too grant anything.

Not too mention time we prove that the lambs are strong enough and Its not worth the effort.

Sadly for us worst case scenario.

Good luck with that mate.
Still seems madness protecting a giant rodent that causes so much damage

Without mentioning the spread of disease

There cute dont get me wrong but yeah the nightmare between down south and up here Is awful, one of our syndicate member apparently does culls down south and he said too even have a chance at being granted would require us too get evidence of one killing a lamb, what Is easier said than done when there's probably 200h of sheep In that field and my cameras picking a mouse up..... that's gonna be a LOT of bloody pictures!

And it requires it too be within about 30m of the camera too... logistical a nightmare only hope I guess Is this is larch as far as I'm aware and Its very much dead so only hope Is the small half acre gets felled here soon and those deal with the set interference through nature scot rather than us.

Now I’m seeing more foxes..1st one was in the field with cows..by the time I opened the gate .,he’d gingerly made his way up 250 yds to enter another field.
I gingerly followed driving watching guided with my Thermal roof mounted up to my ambush point.and what a surprise he was waiting for me near the gate ..
That was a quick cull.
Put up the caller and put a few sausages left over and some pasta buffet and a little while later comes another fella.
Unfortunately the 1st fox shot I had dragged over near buffet area..and the whole flock of cows started to go and pay their last respects.
Whilst this was going on another Charlie appeared.,he waited/watched these last rites from about 137 yds ..I darent shoot as the cows were near and not offering a safe back stop.
Moving on another Charlie appeared in the same position..could have been the same ..he was taken neatly and the cows did the same !
This time I had to interfere and move them away..but they came back a couple of times so I relented and let them be.
A couple of hours and Charlie no 3 popped up and stood watching his fallen comrades with amazement for a good 30 seconds ..fatal mistake..that was his fatal mistake.
So in all 3 Good sized all dogs.
