Out stalking during restrictions

I eat what I shoot and have a freezer full of venison mince, burgers and cubed. But I don’t just eat venison and have to go to the shops to get potatoes, veg, ect to go with it and other types of meat chicken and so on. If I ran out of venison I wouldn’t be looking for a loophole to go stalking I would just buy meat from the shop or butchers until this pandemic has passed to help not put strain on the services and support my local butchers or shop at the same time. That’s just me not saying anyone is right or wrong but going out at the moment for me isn’t a priority.

The act just passed by Parliament clearly states going out to "obtain" food is essential. No mention of buying it in a shop just obtaining it. My stalking ground is closer than the supermarket or butchers and there is no one there so I know where I'll be heading.

It beggars belief that some on here think they can interpret the law to suit their needs. Good luck with that one, some are just born stupid.
