Pard 007 on Vortex scope with no AO

Hi all- I was about to get a Pard 007 (or similar) primarily just to get a small amount of extra shooting time at the end of the day when the light fades- but have been put off by reading that Vortex scopes don't generally work well with NV add ons and that AO is vital. My .308 rifle has a vortex 3.5-10 x50 without AO on it. I have seen some YouTube videos showing how to compromise with a Pard and non AO scope by playing with the Pard focus and am tempted to give it a go, especially as I only shoot at between 40-80m. Does anyone use a Pard on a Vortex and/or a non AO scope?

Cheers

I occasionally use a 007 on a non pa scope , a 3-9x40 Bushnell trophy. It shouldnt work by all accounts but between 20 yards and 80 yards it's fine .
