Thank you for your answer. I want to keep my glass scope on the rifle so it's a rear add on I need. The reason I asked was that the new SP2 4k comes without an IR (sold as a an accessory). I only need it for those last 10 Muntjac minutes, not for foxing.

It would definitely give you another 10 minutes over glass alone
