Pard 007 SP2 4k

It will be grand… I have no plans to change mine. Once you get the hang of it you’ll be flying….. I suspect that the 2.5 x they claim is wrong. I changed from the old nv007a because it was 4ish….. I had hoped that the change would give a better field of view but in reality use it appears very little different in field of view……. but the picture is much much better.

Pard 12mm A is 1x. New 4K is 2.1x, so my Helix on 2x becomes 4.2 min mag witch is great. A 4x scope would give me a min mag of 8.2x

Does anyone have any footage with these units yet? Doesn’t seem to be much on YouTube still
Thanks

I generally don’t bother with footage but I can vouch for the fact that they are clearer than the previous models…. Lrf is a good feature… worth getting.

Cheers. I have a c50 and alpex (not 4k) have you looked through them just as a comparison for image quality? Thanks

Yeap but they are all different animals…. Image quality was good on them all but the pard suffers from a lack of field of view. It suits me as I can move the pard between a number of rifles for different purposes but there is deffo advantages from a dedicated unit. Guess it’s what suits the users purposes best.

That is, Pard has its limits but is still a great bang for the buck and extremely effective. Just needs a low starting magnifications scopeo to works fine either for field of view and image clarity. To me it fails only on fast running quarry's shots, but this, I believe, is common at all NVs and this is why I coupled it in my night "arsenal" with a Pulsar Talion.

Hello everybody, I'm here reporting my experience and a problem I had with the new Pard NV007SP2 4K, to see if other had the same issue.
I bought the Pard on Amazon at the end of November, the price was the same I would have payed buying it on the official Pard site.
I took the version with LRF and 850 IR torch on board.
I have used the old NV007V for 3 years, on a Meopta optika6 3-18 x 56 and a Delta titanium HD 2,5 - 15 x 56, very happy about that version, the 850 torch is very effective and it uses VCSEL tecnology.
I like the new SP2 4K very much too, the torch is very effective, VCSEL for the items sent here in Italy, the LRF is very useful and easy to use, it burst the consume of the device battery very much but that is not a big deal as I always bring with me an extra 18650 battery.

A have this problem with the item I received, if a use the LRF while recoding a video, the laser beam of the LRF does not turn off unless you stop recording, it doesn't stop emitting the laser by pressing again the LRF button as it normly does if I'm not contemporary using the REC funcion.

Unfortunatly, since now the Pard support has been disappointing, they replayed to my email asking more details about the device specs and the problem, 20 days are passed from my replay but they did not contact me anymore neither they replay to other help request I sent them, I'm very disappointed and sorry because I've always been entusiast about their products.

Is anybody experiencing the same problem using LRF and REC thogether?
my Current Firmware Version: PARD_NV007SP2 4K_EN_20250515

I will wait same more days to give other time for them to act properly and then I will return the item to Amazon asking my money back.

regards

the problem with Pard as well as with the assistance of a this kind products is that the commercial crew rarely is up with the new product and aswell with the factory upgrade. They are not users nor passionate about and may be nobody gave them the correct infos on updates. Cause only Amazon offer You in Italy the chance of giving it back get yours money back and wait for a correct versione to come out your's seems a good plan

Whenever I use my LRF, get a range, then press again to turn it off, it takes around 2 or 3 seconds for the splash to stop. A little strange but not a problem at all and I love the 007 4K product. Just a thought, give it a few seconds to stop.

Many thanks for the replay.
I already made all the possible try, the laser beam keep going on, I arrived to a minute waiting it to stop, no way, but as soon as I stop the recording, the beam turns off.
When using LRF not in conjunction with Rec function, things goes as you described.
What pis me off is not having an issue, but the fact they dont provide any assistance, I’m glad I took it on Amazon that makes returning items very easy.

If the 4k is supplied with led and not vcsel.. its a no from me

Seen difference in a zulu with led then changed for a vcsel module....

Wouldn't entertain led

A quick update on my LRF/REC issue, today I received an email from Pard tech service, I wrote them the 11th of November.
Dear Sir,
Really sorry for the late reply for many emails bombarded from here.
Here's the latest firmware for the model, please try to flash the latest firmware: 20251014
Thank you very much for your patience and understanding.

There is a file attached to the mail, no explanation on how to use it on the mail neither on the web site nor on the device menu, nevermind, yesterday I received the money refound from Amazon, I will give the Alpex a try, maybe I will try again Pard in the future
