Hi All.
i recently sold my pard 007 as wasnt using it much, now i miss not having it, so now im thinking of the NV008 istead,
there seems to be a few models, s, LRF, new model, old model, any idea of what would be best for me, and would i need an add on IR torch cos i just sold that too:lol:
was never really happy with my head position on the 007 anyway,
it will be used on either my 22lr or 17 hmr,
any thoughts or advise will be gratefully received,

thanks.

Tbh I used to swear by my 12mm lens 007 but sold it for a wraith. Absolutely love it ,certainly does all I need on my cz457 in .22.

I have the 007a and the 008p and they do all I need to do. The 007 was used on my .17hmr, .222 and 6.5x55SE with dedicated collars for each until I recently put the new 008 on my .222 as a permanent fitting. It is a super sight and will do all you need to with the .22 and .17 hmr without additional IR. They can be a bit of a fiddle to mount with the reticle centred properly but once done mine has been rock solid and never lost zero and that is with the much criticised original mount. For protracted use in IR mode just carry a few batteries especially in very cold weather as they can drain quite quickly especially if you are using the IR on setting 3!
They both bring a whole new dimension to shooting with the ability to record each outing and the various shots - good and all too often not just so good.

Forgot to add that the 008 has great light gathering capacity at twilight just before the time when you think about the IR.
