Hi all,

I wondered what factory ammunition people were using in PH M85s currently?

I can normally find GGG and was surprised that the 147 ball was surprisingly accurate (sub MOA). The 175 was nearer half MOA.

I use 155gr SMKs and that shoots really well and was about half MOA when tested.

Ack. I think 144s switching to 155s was the service round at the time?

Makes sense yours loves the 155s. I will look to that

Yes, the Army swapped from L2A2 Green Spot for sniper use to the L42A3 155gr Sniper ammunition, the latter I designed my homelands around and shoots very very well in all my 7.62s

What fps are your 155s moving at approximately?

Ack the HPS round.

Depending on barrel length about 2750fps so not the hottest thing in the world but groups very well and does well at long distance in my experience.
