Evenin' gents,

Passed my DSC 1 today!

Didn't want to start a thread on here blowing my own trumpet, but my Mrs hasn't a clue why i'm so pleased so thought i'd celebrate it a wee bit with some folk who understand!

Although i'm like a dog wi' two tails tonight, I know this is really only the start of much much more learning. I'm delighted to be on the way though!

Big thanks to North Highland College for such a professional day too, really slick and well put together - highly recommended.

I don't suppose our English colleagues will realise the incongruity of wheesht blowing his own trumpet! Will we keep it a secret or let them into the secrets of the Scots tongue? Well done man by the way.

I used the BDS Ultimate Deer Data on disc. It has a quiz facility as well as the big chunky manual, so you can test yourself over and over and read up along on the way.

Plus when you fancy a break from studying you're already on the computer and can nip on here without the Mrs knowing!
