Hi I’m Tony,
Just really starting to get into Deer Stalking have a fairly decent amount of experience with rifle shooting and hoping to take that further. Really respect the deer species and keen to help with conservation. This is a way to help while also enjoying the outdoors in a way that interests me.
Hoping to conduct my DSC1 next year. Right now just learning as much as possible and looking into getting on stalking days to gain experience. I’ll look to add the fire arms certificate to my shot gun certificate after completion of DSC1.
From there I will hopefully purchase a rifle looking at 6.5 calibre that has been recommended as a good option for deer stalking.
Hopefully in the future I will then be given the opportunity to stalk deer around the Cramlington Morpeth area in Northumberland if possible.
Any help and advice would be appreciated. In no rush to achieve everything in one go want to be relaxed making sure it’s enjoyable and affordable.
