Percussion shooting jackets

I got my little fella the coat and waistcoat and tbh I’m pretty impressed with them tbh I’ve a few pairs of trousers also and rate them you just need to order three sizes to big for them to fit

I have a Percussion jacket, a bargain from Decathlon.
Mine is in brown rather than green and is a favourite of mine but far too warm to wear in anything but cold weather despite the underarm vents. Also far too many pockets. There are pockets for just about everything imaginable so I keep loosing things as I can't remember which pocket that I've put things in.
I also have a pair of Percussion trousers which I've found to be very good value for money. Would definitely buy Percussion again but try before you buy as their sizing is very small probably because they are made in China and most Chinese people tend to be of smaller stature.

Which brand name did you get as there are different types

I find that the sizing is great as it's slim-fitting; bought 3 pairs of the last shorts I tried on there as the fit was so good. I had a look at the shooting gear & it seemed adequate quality but very heavy & warm.

In brown they are rather smart and don't look too much like a shooting jacket when worn around town. While they are certainly waterproof they do tend to soak up a bit of water if its absolutely bucketing down in which event I then tend to wear my Seeland Marsh jacket which is a totally different type of fabric that doesn't seem to absorb any water.

I bought a real tree percussion jacket many moons ago from Deben. I use it for winter within shooting in the woods when stalking woodies and squirrels. It is a fantastically warm jacket and has loads of features and is good quality. I don’t get to wear it much now but it must be in excess of 8 years old. I would recommend them for the cost, although not sure on the quality of them now a days.

I have one, it's a Sologne jacket, it's no Harkilla but it's more than adequate unless the weather is really extreme, smart enough and discrete enough to wear to the pub or through the airport.i bought it on sale and I think I had change out of €80, it's ready and waiting for season 3.

I bought one from newforestclothing 3 years ago its still like new, purchase a size up to get the best.

Can't speak highly enough of this gear, I bought a jacket and trousers from Deben when they sold Percussion I guess ten years ago. the Jacket ws reversible and had a zipped flap you could sit on. I have worn it constantly and it is still in good condition.

I bought a jacket and some trousers from a Decathalon shop in southern France about four years ago, and have worn them quite a lot since. They are excellent value, and do the job very well. Also quite stylish! I then also bought a gilet and a spare pair of trousers, so I am set for years now.....
