My theory is these days if I can’t get something to group reasonably well quickly bin it as clearly the components don’t suit my gun. I think the right powder bullet primer combo is key to accuracy and if it don’t work fairly quickly it probably needs radically changed ie new bullet powder or primer.
Anyway that’s my story I’m sure some combinations work for others

I agree with this. I hate reloading, and can’t be arsed with all the fiddling around.

I’ve been lucky so far - I’ve found entirely satisfactory loads by loading to factory COAL and working up in steps to check pressure, and then more or less arbitrarily choosing one.

Sounds a good method I pick a load that’s safe and has the MV I’m after
