These posts keep reminding me that I really, really want an M81…
There were two at McAvoy guns. Both ex-mine I'd add. A .270 WCF and the 6mm Remington that cam from Mick Shepherd of Mick's Guns. I don't know who now has that stock from the Wigan shop. I do regret selling the 6mm. I also had one in 7mm Remington Magnum that wouldn't load the second round from the magazine...if you see that one avoid it!These posts keep reminding me that I really, really want an M81…

Interesting about the bedding - seems to have been done, though not by me as purchased new way back in time, from Ian, Windrush Guns, Winey; I cannot remember seeing it when I had the stock 'rejuvenated' few years back. Back screw first - again I cannot remember which way I tightened them when putting back after the refurb..........Indeed it does shoot well, with the its Canjar trigger and better 3-position safety!
