Pic's on PM's

How do you add pic's to a private message guys ?.
Tried clicking the image tab and it asks for a web address ?.
I just want to add pic's from my laptop ?.
HELP !.

You can if you embed the BCC code from an image hosting site like Flickr. Don't use Imgur as receipients will only be able to view content if they have a VPN to bypass the online safety law rules that Imgur refuses to adhere to.

Seems like a real faff having to go through a 3rd party ?. You can add stuff straight from your pc on the forum, but not in messages ?. Seems daft to me ?.

I usually ask for a mobile number and WhatsApp any photos over.

I actually managed to do that very thing Will. I've amazed myself with my technical knowhow and wizardry. The whatsapp thing that is.

Embedding a link is straightforward but a faff, likewise I go to WhatsApp, faster and easier

Can I ask, why is it different to posting in the forums?

Because it uses up space that we have to pay for. With posts everyone can see/get value from (some of the time ) the image where as with a PM only 2 people see it. If you need to send an image to a particular person you might as well use email or a 3rd party.
