Please help with deer hunting licence in ROI

Can anyone help me with this? After Google search I followed the links to access the " Heritage licensing portal" but once opened the sign in window pops up and there is no option to register. I am not able to do anything else than sign in what apparently is impossible because I am not registered

I tried to log in yesterday Friday and it looked as if the portal was down. Perhaps try again after the weekend. There is a link to an email address for problems. I'll try to post it .

Its a really bad interface, I got on the phone to NPWS and camped there until I got a bit of help to sort it out.

Once you're setup the renewal will be easy. It's a daft idea for a license anyway, years ago the local wildlife ranger would get in touch and discuss cull numbers, areas etc, now the licenses just seem to get issued.

I hope you have your DSC1 or similar. Any new licenced stalkers must have a recognised qualification.

Hello Sika, yes I have indeed. Is it required by Garda when applying for FAC ? Reading the guidance for DHL applications they don't want anything! Or perhaps I've misread

The Gardai May ask for a copy of your DHL. what they will be looking at is where you have permission to hunt. Presumably you will be either shooting on private land, with a professional stalker or on an Coillte lease. All new first time applicants have to have some deer hunting related qualification. Even if you had one previously and didn’t renew it for a few years !
