Podcast recommendations

Have a listen to the Joe Rogan interviews with Ted Nugent if you fancy some rock n roll redneck, vegan hating, helicopter hog shooting laughs. The Mike Tyson ones are pretty nuts too but less hunting in them

No such thing as a fish.. Comedy, same people that do QXL on the TV
BBC friday night Comedy.. ( out first on BBC sounds)
Darknet Diaries-- cyber crime,
The infinite Monkey cage.. Science.
the Curious cases of Rutherford and Fry.. Science...

Rogan-look for Rinella, Remi Warren, Nugent, other hunters. There’s a lot of good stuff generally.
Guns on pegs (if you like game shooting)
Deer cast
Meat eater

If you like rugby the good the bad the rugby is really good too

I spend half of my life travelling so always looking for recommendations, to date I have found:

UK - for shotgun shooting the GunsOnPegs ones are OK, BASC one just....OK. As above The Outdoor Gibbon and The DeerCast

International - Into The Wilderness - Byron Pace, very UK heavy recently but for UK the Sam Thompson ones are worth a listen

US - there is some good episodes on The Big Game Hunting Podcast esp the Copper one and for Africa the Kevin Roberston episodes. Some of the cartridge comparisons are interesting and plenty of US hunting stories. The Hunting Collective OK in parts

Finally, for books get the BorrowBox app and use your library card to get audiobooks for free, lots of titles on there, recently listened to Jake Fiennes' Healing the Land, he's an ex Gamekeeper

Every Day Sniper (podcast by Frank Gali who is the driving force behind the Snipers Hide web forum and pages )

Absolute plethora of information mixed with some rants from someone who cares about the state of training and competition delivery in the USA

Modern Day Sniper - similar to the above

The Straight Dope - Chris Way

All the above give detailed and absolutely relevant information towards the fundamentals of consistent shooting rifles for accuracy

Though this is applicable across all facets of shooting (pistol, shotgun, carbine etc )

Alan Partridge, "From the Oasthouse".

"Your dog's got my dog's stick" gets me everytime. Think he'd fit in well on the SD..

I used to listen to podcasts on apples own app
