One problem with both Aus and NZ are the large number of UK cops who bring their anti-gun bias with them.

Its a genuine problem.

From what I gather you live in the boonies of QL,a location unlikely to be on the top of any expat bobbies list of choice posting .

you did make the statement and I simply asked for some evidence as you are alluding to know it already.
If you had half a brain and knew how to track you would see that I am a long way removed from Qld....which is mentioned below.

This is how K Junior now spends her evening rather than spending c2-hours before dinner in our study/office marking papers and/or formally responding to classroom 'incidents' that any number of Parents should be all over like a rash:

Its for separate thread so I'll simply observe:

Why should any enthusiastic would-be Teacher (of any subject) be expected to have a similar aptitude and desire to spend c50% of their day dealing with issues that are for either Social Services or the Parent/s?

And against a backdrop of fear that if you make a wrong call in your approach to a situation, that might just as easily arise from compassion rather than frustration/annoyance, you risk losing everything.
