Portable reloading press stand ideas

This is what found having the same quest, yet to build one, but have my kit mounted to 1 - 1/2" oak boards sanded and waxed, and use small 4"G clamps to kitchen work to breakfast bar, have up graded my press to a small Harrells press, that has its own clamp, https://1967spud.com/harrells-magnum and keep my original Lee press for de priming.

If you have the time and inclination to make something like that then it's great - although my guess would be that you'd still get best results by clamping it.

My first reloading press mounted like this and was rigid enough to cam-over, and it cost me almost nothing (picked up some plywood scraps at B&Q for pennies):

I used a Wamadet press for years because I had a similar problem. No longer made but they still pop up now and again.

Or drill it to mate to a trailer (caravan) hitch insert, so you reload at the range....

Those hitches are not widely available in Europe to be legally used we are all on a hook system with a ball on the end of 2 inches well 50mm diameter. I still have my 1993 Chevy Stepside one festering away in my garage here.

I used a Wamadet press for years because I had a similar problem. No longer made but they still pop up now and again.

Great bits of kit I love mine and if I stumble across another I would just buy it as a spare.

Used for years with a Lee Decapper 1 stage press, a Lee 3 hole turret press and a small vice mounted on plate. Portable with a bit of grunting!
