How good of you to say so,unlike the others lol. I actually included the `roo so as to distract.....it worked.
Diff deer below, one is a hind other a maiden hind. They were on an opposite bank heading up towards the bush after staying out later than usual due to drought.
For an animal that didn't evolve in Australia I take my hat off to them for their ability to hide with natural camouflage without even hiding. ( first pic)

Calf on the oats kicking its heels up. Gee they can sprint,like watching Fallow fawns playing chasey speed aplenty.



Found a little cutie,buried in the berry canes and I stalked in to 25 yards then it hared off flag flying.

I went back to the 'zone' tonight and found a three eared deer. Ah yes that white 'thing' looks to be a wombat skull.
These deer are two skips from disappearing into the bush btw. The hind is watching my dog.

Found this hind bedded out of the wind,everything as perfect until an errant gust hit her nose and her head snapped to the left then she up and offed. I had plans of stalking into her for a better angle after a few pics as per below.
The phaarkin wind spoils it for all of us at times.

I took this pic many years ago of a Grey Shrike Thrush on eggs in a window sill bucket,ironically there is another bird on the sill too.

Mixed day today,foggy and wet in parts too.

One can always tell if its a koala tree and if they are in it.

Earlier I ran into a cracker old hind,if there were dogs around she be dog turds. Light,lame and sore she is.
Found the stag first a k before I saw the hind,try as I may I couldn't get a pic through the shite foliage.
Add a grizzled old wallaby to th emix too.

Definitely a Magpie Moth, Abraxas grossulariata he said with his anorak on! Feeds on blackthorn, gooseberry, currants and many other shrubs.......so my book says!
