Lovely scope

Here’s mine
S20 with a chopped barrel from 24” down to 22&1/4”, Stalon X108, Leupold VX-5HD 3-15 x 56, Vortex flip up lens caps, Optilock picatinny base and medium rings all in loaded is 5.7kg .
Not a lightweight but not bothered as it’s a great rifle for me, achieving 1/3 MOA with S&B Blue 120gr and cloverleaf with Federal Power Shock 130gr if I do my bit so more than adequate for putting Deer on the ground .

It is indeed @Terrydeer , lovely clear glass no soft edges, good in low light and doesn’t weigh a lot, helping me put Deer on the ground .

Newly acquired MDT HNT-26 with transferred Tikka T3X Lite (Wideland Veil) in .308 with F&D UTS231 mod, bolt, loaded 3-round mag, Spartan universal adapter, 4 stock spacers and Swaro Z6i (2.5-18x56 with flip covers) so in full stalking configuration, 9.81 lb (4.45 kg). Not as light as I had hoped but I could probably take a lb off by changing the scope; I'll see how I get on

Glad I went with the folding version otherwise I couldn’t get the bolt out with the cheek rest set where I need it.

The paint job i did with rattle cans nearly 20 years ago when I first put the stock on it. Its held up well.

It's being re-barreled. So shorter HS Precision stainless one being fitted, 19", 1/8 twist, fluted and then cerakoted.

I've got a 20 moa nightforce Ultralite mount to fit and a 0 moa Tier one rail too.

Bolt is being fluted and the handle changed to something similar to my AI bolt (hopefully) and then a fresh camo job on the stock.

Hope it's not a stupid question, but what does the '90' stand for in the 4x90 scopes? They're hardly 90mm objective lenses!

Merkel RX Helix 30.06. . Alpinist stock. Stalon X108 mod and neoprene cover for protection. Delta 2.5-15x56 scope. Harkilla canvas and leather sling - all in mag unfilled 4.8kg or 10.6lb. To me.as light as I’d go and love the Merkel action. By the way my wife says - the dots on the floor photo are because I have broken a.lens on the Iphone. It isn’t she isn’t hoovering enough
