Post your rifle setup including weight

I’ve recently bought a 6.5PRC tikka super varmint 23-3/4” barrel with a Kahles k525i. Prefer it to my bergara 308 20” barrel. Unbelievably accurate. Going to sit it in a KRG whiskey 3 gen 6 chassis

You really have all the bases covered there, lovely set of working rifles 👍

Not quite rifles yet but once they are complete, I’ll update!

One on the left is an Ultralight ETAC and the right a MILSPEC ETAC. Of course both from @PSE Rifle Stocks. Very slightly different in completion but fit their intended roles perfectly.

Thanks to @Malxwal for having very similar taste!
Okay so…

One rifle was a nice easy bolt in job; although definitely not lightweight.

We have a T3 Action, Bolt Fluted 6x180, Sassen 20” Stainless T4 profile, 1:7 twist, chambered in .260Rem. PSE ETAC MILSPEC, IOR 2-16x42 in an American Defense QD Mount, Wildcat Evolution and a Tier One ATAC Bipod.

12lb 6oz.

With enough time behind the rifle and experience of things going right and wrong, my preference is not for a heavy or light rifle, but a balanced one.

Alex Wheeler's posts on another forum are worth reading: Importance of rifle balance

Sadly, most purchases are made based on stats that can be looked up and compared on paper.

Compare things side to side in the real world, and you'll see that these stats don't always add up.

People ask me why I prefer Japanese scopes over European ones, higher mounted scopes vs. 'as low as possible to the bore', shorter barrels and lighter moderators... it's because all these things are objectively better!

Two of mine. Both were smithed by Jack at Jack Keister Custom Rifles, all of the stock work and Cerakote by Jason at Jack Keister Custom Rifles.

First is a .300 Win Mag, Stiller TAC-300 action, Obermeyer 5R tight bore .298/.308 1:10 fluted barrel, Manners T4A stock, Jewell trigger, PT&G bottom metal, Schmidt & Bender PMII 5-20 in a Spuhr mount, Atlas bipod. 15 pounds even

Second is a 6.5 Creedmoor, Curtis Axiom action, Proof Research carbon fiber wrapped 1:10 barrel, Huber 2-stage trigger, Seekins bottom metal, custom hand laid carbon fiber stock by Jack Keister Custom Rifles, Schmidt & Bender PMII 5-25, Nightforce titanium rings, Spartan Valhalla bipod. 13.25 pounds

This rifle is a beauty. If looks could kill, well in this instance they can.

There is nothing controversial about the GRS Bifrost, excellent ergonomics and a reasonable weight. I am a little biased, I have three.
Forgive my lack of knowledge on this lovely rifle - is that two recoil lugs I see?
Just very curious if there indeed are two on a light chambering.

Here are two more I just put together.

Top is a Remington 1903 with a Unertl 12X on a Belding & Mull scope mount.
Bottom is a Remington 1903A3 action with a star gauged NRA sporter barrel, M60 flash hider and 10X Unertl. The NRA sporter barrel is slightly larger than a service grade barrel so I still have some inletting to do to float the barrel before shooting it. I may hunt with that rifle this year.
