Ppu is it good enough for hunting?

I have had mixed experience of ppu bullets, had 2 batches of 8mm ones that had a lot of variation in the diameter, some would spin in the neck once seated. The factory rounds I have used would do singe hole groups at 100yds if I did my part, no complaints about the brass either.

ppu i use it in both my 22/250 and my 308 mostly on foxys and roe deer not had any complaints or runners ive all the gear to reload but at the price of ppu i cant be botherd.shoots into less than an inch at 100 yards .

Ping --- Did you measure the diameter of the bullets? What was the variation? ---- Are you sure your brass wasn't varying - did you measure that? --- If the brass was getting work hardened, some could be different hardness & not reform to the correct diameter. (This happens with collet type dies) Maybe time to anneal the cases.
