I think I may struggle with this one.

Got back from Scotland last night, day off today so I started to skin the head for boiling.....

I've just moved house and the new place has an induction hob, my biggest pot is Alu so it wont work. I have resorted to a camping stove which isn't the best and I have to change the head position every once in a while to get it all simmered as its not deep enough.

Will have to nip to Morrisons to pressure wash it too.

Ah well, I'll do my best.

Had this around the back of the shed for a while.

Unfortunately I have lost one of the teeth (annoying) but found these under the skull.

Ah, I see. Didn't notice that.

Cheers.
The holes almost certainly won’t hold them, they sit within the gum primarily so if you want them on it you’ll need to glue them in place, most don’t bother, in Germany these are highly sought after for jewellery and often made into cufflinks or set as a pendant in silver etc….
They’re called grandels normally (or tusks)

Everyone of the teeth are loose to the point they fall out so I was going to glue them in place.

White tack is good for setting teeth in a skull. Enables you to reposition them to get them all lined up, and then you can smooth it down with a small tool to fill the gaps. Particularly good for muntjac tusks.

I did similar with the tusks on the CWD, I used milliput to fill and set them.

Or just a bit of tissue made wet and stuffed in any void around the tusk/tooth, sets like glue (remember making blow guns out of pens and balls of chewed up paper… bet there are classrooms the length of the land with a multitude still adhered to their ceilings..!)

You could do the toothless cut? its a cut that's occasionally did with red deer its just the top molars that get sliced off and the premaxila are left on (there for) the ivory also is still attached

Not a great example but 99% of images are front on so impossible to see the cut lol.

I will look into it, thanks.

I may also mount it with missing teeth for the laugh.

The head is finally up. The colour looks a bit patchy at the moment as I've just cleaned it off.

Had to use a drill and wire brush to remove a few hard bits of skin that had dried on.

I think it looks pretty good.
