At Spartan Precision Equipment Ltd we are passionate about designing, manufacturing and selling the ultimate shooting support systems for both civilian and government users.

We are experiencing an exciting time of growth and development, and we require a full-time Project Engineer to join our dedicated and close-knit team,based at our Head Office in Hartfield located in the beautiful East Sussex countryside close to Ashdown Forest.

You will be highly motivated and organised with a strong attention to detail. You will be a logical thinker with a problem-solving approach to your work. We are not focussed on qualifications but rather finding the right individual with the capabilities, passions and personality to join us.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Being the dedicated ‘Technical Lead’ for complex customers as well as assisting with general customer queries.
• Promote our range of products to prospective and existing customersto ensure continued business growth including attending tradeshows and events.
• Liaising with suppliers from concept to production release.
• Effectively manage quality queries to achieve positive resolutions.
• Assist the Core Team to bring a product from concept to production, ensuring requirements are fully understood and that implementation plans match expectations.
• Design Control/Product Management including:
o Version Management
o Prototyping and Pre-production
o Managing Design Decisions
o Assist with product testing.

Key skills and attributes:

• Highly organised with the ability to prioritise tasks and work under pressure
• Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills
• Technical knowledge with a high attention to detail
• Flexibility and adaptability to changing workloads
• A problem-solving approach to work demonstrating a can-do attitude
• Strong IT skills and project management experience

Professional experience and qualifications:

Experience in a customer facing environment

Ideally you will have graduated in mechanical engineering or product design or completed an apprenticeship or similar qualification at a technical college.

A keen interest/ involvement in shooting sports is advantageous.

Due to office location, you may need access to your own transport.

Salary: £28,000 - £32,000 per annum (37.5 hours per week, Monday – Friday)

@Jh1986 I’m not saying what I currently earn part- time but it’s significantly more. A first degree in mechanical engineering, a second in RCM and AQPM too, as well as an passionate ambassador and advocate of my Spartan ecosystem, I too would love to do a job like that but not at that salary :coat:
